Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of LocalHomeProjectFinder.com (the “Site”), operated by maxidimai LLC (“LocalHomeProjectFinder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What we do — and what we don’t

LocalHomeProjectFinder is a free referral service. We help homeowners describe a home improvement project and connect them with independent companies, or with marketing companies that work with independent companies, that may be able to provide a quote.

• We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a company you hire.
• We do not endorse or vet companies in depth. We do not guarantee any company’s licensing, insurance, qualifications, pricing, availability or quality of work. Check licenses, insurance, references and written estimates before you hire anyone.
• We do not guarantee a match. Not every service is available in every area, and companies decide for themselves whether to contact you.
• Costs on the Site are estimates. Price ranges and cost guides are general information only and are not quotes. Your actual price depends on your home, location, materials and the company you choose.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Site. You may submit a request only for a property you own or are authorized to arrange work on.

3. Your request and your consent to be contacted

When you submit a request, you agree that the information you provide is accurate, that it is your own, and that the phone number you give is yours or one you are authorized to use. Do not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission.

If you agree to be contacted, we and up to three home improvement companies matched to your request may contact you by phone, text and email as described in the consent you gave and in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling a caller, or emailing [email protected].

4. How we are paid

The Site is free for homeowners. We are paid by the companies and networks we share requests with. See our Advertiser Disclosure for how this affects which companies you are matched with.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, fraudulent or someone else’s information;
• use the Site to send spam or to harass anyone;
• scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the Site by automated means without our written permission;
• interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use; or
• use the Site in violation of any law.

6. Our content

The Site’s text, graphics, logos and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

7. Third-party companies and sites

Companies you are connected with are independent third parties, not our employees or agents. Any dealings, estimates, contracts, payments, warranties or disputes are solely between you and that company. The Site may link to third-party websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY ABOUT ANY COMPANY, ITS WORK OR ITS PRICES.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXIDIMAI LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED BY ANY COMPANY YOU WERE CONNECTED WITH. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless maxidimai LLC from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from information you submit that is false or not yours, or from your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it where you live.

12. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms by posting an updated version and changing the date at the top of this page. Changes apply from that date; your continued use of the Site means you accept them. We may suspend or end access to the Site at any time.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
