These are independent businesses from our partner list, or marketing companies that place requests with them. Which companies receive it depends on your location, the project, who is available, and what they pay us — see our advertiser disclosure.

We do not inspect or guarantee the companies we match you with. Before you hire, check that a company holds the license your state requires and carries insurance.

3. Compare estimates and decide

Matched companies contact you directly by phone, text or email — usually soon after you submit — to ask about the project and arrange an estimate. Compare the quotes you receive on price, scope, warranty and timing. You are never obliged to hire anyone, and you never pay us.
